Refrigerant belongs in a closed circuit
A correctly sealed system is designed to retain its refrigerant. When the level repeatedly falls, the useful question is where system integrity has been lost or whether earlier service left another condition unresolved.
The speed of the change, visible oil traces, previous repairs and accessible component condition can guide the test plan. Some leaks are obvious; others require time and suitable detection methods.
Why flushing cannot repair a leak
Flushing is a cleaning process used for particular contamination or repair situations. As Sifu White explains in the embedded workshop video, cleaning the inside of a circuit does not repair a physical leak in a coil, hose, seal, joint or other component.
Whether flushing is appropriate depends on what has failed and what contamination is present. It should not be sold as a universal answer to gas loss.
Why repeated top-ups can delay the real decision
A refill may temporarily restore performance, but it does not establish the leak location or the condition of the rest of the system. Repeating it without a reasoned inspection can add cost while the underlying problem remains.
What we should tell you after a leak check
A useful assessment tells you what we found, the limits of the test, the repair area and the refrigerant required by the vehicle. The workshop should then explain repair choices, parts and price before work proceeds.
Refrigerant handling requires correct equipment. Newer refrigerants and hybrid or electric systems can also introduce equipment and safety requirements that differ from older vehicles.

The system is intended to be closed. A meaningful recurring loss deserves inspection for leakage or another service condition.
Can flushing stop an aircond leak?
No. Flushing cleans selected internal passages; it does not seal a leaking component, joint or seal.

Not always. Very small or intermittent leaks may need the right detection method, operating conditions or follow-up observation.
